We are used to seeing training photos, posed pictures of new signings, and head-and-shoulders shots of the whole team but some of the material in our library is more candid in nature, offering a somewhat unique insight into the goings-on at Easter Road during the club's most successful years.
Some of these pictures, taken by our talented team of snappers through the decades, may never have been seen digitally up until now and we are happy to give them a new lease of life by displaying them on our website and in the newspaper.
We have picked out a selection of ten images dating from the early 1900s right up until the 1970s, covering a range of events including player signings, training, travel to European games, and more.
