Rugby: Crombie wants Boroughmuir to hit highs

Captain Sean Crombie has called on a three-change Boroughmuir squad to finish the first half of the premiership rugby season on a high at Aberdeen on Saturday after a shock loss to Heriot’s.

‘Muir recall Harris Jones at full back with Sep Visser moving to the wing while Robbie Wilson steps in to a gap at prop created by Robin Hislop’s injury. Also, Neil Rodger returns on the bench after some good reserve performances.

Crombie said: “We’ll pick ourselves up and finish on a high.

“I like to credit the opposition but (at Heriot’s) we threw it away when we had enough position and enough possession to win comfortably.”

Meanwhile, Boroughmuir will again be without Harry Leonard as the stand off continues with Edinburgh at Treviso after an impressive first start last week. “I got a chance last week and I’ll get another chance this week so I just look forward to it,” he said.
