The stand off, who appeared in both Heineken European Cup and Rabo Direct Pro 12 matches after starting the campaign with Boroughmuir, is one of 11 Capital-based players in the squad. Boroughmuir provide six prospects while there are opportunities for winger Jamie Farndale who debuted for Edinburgh at Cardiff last month as well as hooker Fergus Scott, younger brother of Scotland centre, Matt.
