Sarah Beaney Cup means so much for Murrayfield Wanderers
Beaney was tragically killed in a car crash 11 years ago and Martin said the current set of players are fully aware of her legacy as Wanderers – aiming for their 12th trophy success – prepare to face arch-rivals Hillhead-Jordanhill on the international pitch at BT Murrayfield.
“Obviously with the cup being named after one of our players who unfortunately died in an accident it obviously has a special resonance for us,” said the 26-year-old stand-off.
