Rugby: Wilson reveals pitch problems robbed Lismore of a game
With work still ongoing on a new pitch at Inch Park, Lismore had tried to get Double Hedges for the RBS East One encounter but Liberton were playing there.
They had then tried to get a pitch at the Jack Kane Centre and at Peffermill but with no success.

And it left Lismore’s first XV frustrated because they were keen to play and, indeed, far from struggling for numbers the club have been fielding a second XV regularly this season and they had a good win at Livingston at the weekend.
Wilson said: “I just wanted to clear up any misunderstanding about us being unable to field a side at the weekend. The club is currently going from strength to strength and we have been very pleased with the number of new players who have showed up this season.”
Lismore’s next match is on Saturday against Forrester in the RBS Edinburgh Regional Shield round one.
