Stephen Tiffney returns with first-round stoppage
The 29-year-old made short work of his opponent at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow on Friday night, producing a devastating body shot that left the Central American unable to pull himself up from the canvas.
Tiffney was making his returning to the ring following an eight-month absence that saw him lose his first professional contest to Capital rival Lewis Paulin in December.

The power has always been there but I just caught him with a good shot. I knew I had hurt him. MTK are happy to push me and I’m happy to be pushed. I’m ready to fight any of these guys (in the division). I’ve slipped away a bit from the top ten but I know MTK can get me these titles that I am after. I’ve done a couple of ten rounders last year so that’s what I am after. I’m ready for the big fights.”
