Volleyball: NUVOC leap past Lizards in Scottish Cup

NUVOC, the 2015 runners-up, made it two wins out of two in this season's men's Scottish Volleyball Cup with a comfortable win at Livingston Lizards.

The League One leaders won through in straight sets away from home 25-20, 25-22, 25-21.

Edinburgh University opened their cup campaign with a straightforward 25-12, 25-19, 25-19 win over NUVOC II.

City of Edinburgh II lost in four sets at Glasgow Mets II 23-25, 16-25, 25-9, 11-25.

In the women’s cup, Edinburgh Jets went down 9-25, 13-25, 6-25 at home to St Andrews University and NUVOC II lost at home to Dundee University 16-25, 21-25, 20-25.
