The Titans came into the game as the highest-scoring side in the conference but it was the home side who struck first in the second quarter as Jamie Morrison ran into the end zone after sending the Titans defence the wrong way with a neat fake.

The Titans struck back shortly after through Steve Kimmins but the Wolves responded immediately as Steve Wilson caught a pass in midfield before skipping past four Titans defenders.

Lloyd Dignan extended Wolves’ advantage before half-time then Stu Galloway used his pace after the break to reel in a short pass and run along the sideline for another touchdown.

The Titans added their second of the afternoon when Lawreance Sarpong ran the ball in from a few yards out but MVP and Wolves linebacker Ross Young completed the scoring, recovering a fumble and running 50 yards for a touchdown.

The Wolves host the Gateshead Senators this Sunday as they look to continue their fine form.
