In Party Crackers wi’ Jesse Rae at 8pm, the 80s cult hero, clad in full Highland battle dress, brings his slick, synth-funk, Celtic bon-mots, all sung with a thick Scottish flourish to the Lothian Street venue.

Join the self-styled Funk warrior from the Scottish Borders as he also showcases his surreal, self-directed videos.

Expect also, new tracks from Rae’s forthcoming album. A Scottish music legend, Rae scored popular recognition in 1986 with Over the Sea, the video of which features the kilted, helmeted, claymore-brandishing Rae in New York City, the Scottish Highlands and Edinburgh, winning him a Vira award.
