Broadway hit The Book of Mormon, which was due to run at the Edinburgh Playhouse between June 17 and July 4, has now been postponed until 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The show, written by the creators of iconic TV show South Park, will now be arriving in the capital from June 9 to June 26, 2021.

The Edinburgh Playhouse is run by The Ambassador Theatre Group and had initially announced that all shows up until May 31 would be cancelled, with vouchers and new tickets granted to customers whose tickets became invalid.
