Catherine Tate's Lauren Cooper back from dead, touring Edinburgh

CATHERINE Tate is resurrecting her character Lauren Cooper for a 21-date UK tour, which will include a stop in Edinburgh.

The comedian and actress is taking The Catherine Tate Show on the road from November 1.

The cast will include argumentative teenager Lauren - known for her catchphrase “Am I bovvered?” - who was killed off in the Christmas special of the BBC series in 2007.

Several of Tate’s other well-known characters will also appear in The Catherine Tate Show - Live, including ‘Nan’ Taylor, Irish nurse Bernie, Geordie Georgie and Essex girl Sam.

Nan said: “She’s going on tour, is she? What a load of old s***.”

Tate, 47, will perform at the Edinburgh Playhouse on November 7.
