Despite the cancellation of this year’s Edinburgh King’s panto, Allan Stewart and Andy Gray will once again have them rolling in the aisles this Christmas… in Milton Keynes.

The Edinburgh panto favourites have been snapped up to star in Sleeping Beauty by Qdos Pantomimes, co-producers of The King’s panto, at the Milton Keynes Theatre.

Allan will once again don a frock to play his legendary dame Auntie May while Andy will play the silly King in the socially distanced pantomime which will run from Saturday 19 December 2020 to Sunday 10 January 2021.

Allan says, “It’s a double edged sword. Happiness at being back in the frock with Andy by my side and not being in my beloved Kings with the greatest team in panto land. See you all in 2021.”

This year’s King’s panto was postponed until 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The Milton Keynes production also starring Claire Sweeney, Suzanne Shaw and Lee Mead goes ahead with support of The National Lottery.
