EPT know importance of being earnest

EDINBURGH People's Theatre starts its 2017 season next week with the play that opened the Church Hill Theatre in 1965, Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest.

First performed in 1895, its inspired dialogue and sparking witticisms are some of the most often quoted in the English language.

EPT previously performed the play at the Church Hill in 1998 and one of that cast returns in this new production directed by Helen Hammond.
