Have a Woomble-ing merry Chrsitmas

AT the Debating Hall in Teviot House, tomorrow, Roddy Woomble's Christmas Hootenanny is the big festive draw.

Returning for a third year, Woomble lines up another Christmas Hootenanny with an evening of solo material, Idlewild classics and festive favourites. With a long-running career in indie and folk music and numerous critically acclaimed albums Roddy needs no introduction. His place is firmly set as one of Scotland’s finest songwriters.

Born in Irvine, the 40-year-old is best known as the lead vocalist of indie rock band Idlewild, released his debut solo album, My Secret is My Silence, in 2006.
