Jerry Sadowitz: Comedian, Magician, Psychopath!
It proved controversial, but then what would you expect of comedian and magician known for his unflinching honesty.
Anarchic, dark and frequently offensive, Sadowitz brings his no holds barred humour to the King’s Theatre on Friday in Comedian, Magician, Psychopath! A show strictly for the 18+ age group.

Hide AdDescribed as a ‘monster without a Loch’, his unique approach to comedy - a mix of hatred, foul language and impressive card tricks - is guaranteed to make you feel better about yourself, as he bangs on about one thing and another. Things that rile him.
His press release reveals that last week those things included ‘how much he wanted Beth Tweddle’ and ‘how teeth braces interfered with the metal plate in his head.’
Ground-breaking, Sadowitz has influenced a generation of comedians, but has insisted that ‘politically incorrect comedy is no genre: it’s me, and it’s been ripped off by loads and loads of comics.’
He went on to brand them all with a suitably offensive name.

Hide AdOf course, the one thing they are unlikely to be able to rip off are his card tricks... ‘you have to be bloody good to do them,’ is the general opinion.
In fact, Sadowitz is widely acclaimed as one of the best close-up magicians in the world.
At 55 then, it appears the New Jersey-born, Glasgow raised showman is showing no signs of mellowing.
But would we really want him to? Just remember, if you’re easily offended it’s probably best to steer clear of the Leven Street venue this Friday.
