Local Buzz: Bombskare

AS their explosive name suggests, Bombskare are not ambassadors for subtlety.

A nine-piece ska outfit hailing from Edinburgh, they claim to “reach zero to sixty skanking miles an hour in the space of three chords”.

The Liquid Room’s sound-system should ensure that the band’s crowd-pleasing ska, which will likely comprise original material and party-centric cover versions, doesn’t hit the wall in the process.

Supporting them will be indie quartet The Imagineers, whose catchy sing-alongs are decidedly more cruise-control than Bombskare’s mega-horsepower freakouts.
