Surround yourself with sparkle and find new moments to share with friends and family – brand new bright lights for winter nights.

The botanical world is festooned with seasonal cheer enhanced by a soundtrack of festive classics.

The jaw-dropping showstopper this year is a 20 meters high and 128 meters long LED light show which scans the modernist Front Range Glasshouse with a fully programmed routine set to Carol of the Bells by heavy metal band Metallica.

Starfield, another new large-scale installation, programmed by audio-visual designers Art AV, is a copse full of huge colour-changing stars, elevated on poles to dance amongst the trees in the night sky.

Immerse yourself within bouncing lines of light in the laser garden and discover giant luminescent sculptures rising high into the night sky. There are giant baubles and snowflakes where you least expect them and clusters of trees wrapped in ever-changing ribbons of colour.

Wander beneath unique tree canopies drenched in Christmas colour. There are hidden surprises too. Watch out as lights seem to tumble from the undergrowth and flash up trees like fizzing fireworks.

Inverleith House springs to life with choreographed beams of light dancing across its historic façade and the tunnel of light returns with twinkling splendour.

This year, pause for a moment of quiet reflection at the fire garden, aglow with hundreds of flickering flames.
