Red Hot Chilli Pipers to shoot video in Haddington
BAGPIPING rock band the Red Hot Chilli Pipers will visit an East Lothian town.
Local MSP Iain Gray will welcome members of the globally renowned group to Haddington on Monday, ahead of filming for their new video.
The shoot is due to take place in the town later this month.
Members of the band contacted Mr Gray to tell him about the filming, which will be hosted in the Corn Exchange on June 28 and is set to feature hundreds of local schoolchildren.
Youngsters from King’s Meadow Primary School will be chasing the band, taking their bagpipes and playing them in the video.
Red Hot Chilli Pipers formed in Scotland in 2002.
Their sound, which combines guitars, keyboards, drums and bagpipes, is known as “bagrock”.
