Guilt series two: pictures show filming getting underway in Leith for hit BBC drama
Film crews have been spotted around the Capital this week as filming gets underway for the second series of the hit BBC drama Guilt.
The multi award-winning BBC Two and BBC Scotland drama, Guilt, returns with a new cast including Sara Vickers, Phyllis Logan, Stuart Bowman and Ian Pirie joining returning cast Mark Bonnar, Jamie Sives and Emun Elliott.
Filming took place today, Friday, February, 5 in and around Cafe Truva at The Shore in Leith.
Film crews could be seen in the street surrounding the area and marshals were also placed to ensure social distancing guidelines were followed.
Crews were also spotted filming at St Cuthbert’s Church yesterday.
On Sunday, Leith Links Community Council forewarned local residents that the filming may “slightly affect traffic flow at times”, and might also impact parking, while a few small areas may be blocked off from pedestrians.
The series had previously been filming in Glasgow since November 2020.
Last week, it was reported that streets in Glasgow were standing in for those of Chicago for the series.
