West Lothian’s The Snuts rent Stirling Castle for live stream show-off debut album
With their highly-anticipated debut album, W.L. out next month, Whitburn stars The Snuts have announced a special live stream show from Stirling Castle.
The event which will take place on March 26 will give fans an exclusive opportunity to hear the album in its entirety ahead of release on April 2.
Tickets for the event are on sale now and available from the band’s website.
Singer Jack Cochrane said: “In an effort to play our debut record back to back for our fans we decided to rent out a castle.
“And with a glimmer of hope on the horizon where live music is concerned, we wanted to make sure this was our grandest, most ambitious live stream show to date.”
The band released their infectious new single ‘Somebody Loves You’ in February, donating the entire production budget, along with the band’s label, Parlophone Records, also donating all proceeds from downloads of the single to the Scottish Refugee Council.
The radio-ready indie-pop tune sees the band continue to redefine their sound, following the hip-hop driven ‘Elephants, the heartfelt anthem ‘Always’ and ‘All Your Friends’.
Appearing on Sky News and BBC Newsbeat Jack kept busy throughout February, continuing his fight for support from Nicola Sturgeon and the Scottish Government for support for the live music sector.
The West Lothian chart toppers band have also announced their biggest tour to date for May and June 2021, including three sold out dream shows at Glasgow’s Barrowland and one sold out show at Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange.
