Now a centrepiece of Edinburgh’s festive calendar, it will be a highlight of RBGE's 350th anniversary celebrations.
More than 76,000 people attended the Botanics light show last year to see its magical display of twinkling lights, projections and lasers.
Festive favourites will return including the jaw dropping Cathedral of Light, a towering, 60-metres long walk-through archway, festooned with over 100,000 lights.
The state-of-the-art Laser Garden is also back, along with an appearance by Santa Claus and the grand finale projection onto Inverleith House.
But as ever, the trail will also feature many new installations including a projected light show on the 128 metre long modernist Front Range Glasshouses and Starfield – a large-scale installation of white LED twinkling stars by audio-visual designers Art AV.
Christmas at the Botanics is one of seven illuminated trails brought by leading promoter Raymond Gubbay Limited and is held in partnership with the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh and creative producer Culture Creative.
