Following Amanda and Clive Owen’s divorce earlier this year, Our Yorkshire Farm has been officially cancelled, and a new spin-off show is set to be launched in December. According to reports,  Channel 5 has commissioned a brand new series, Beyond the Yorkshire Farm: Reuben & Clive, which  will feature star dad Clive and son Reuben.

With Amanda gone, the spotlight will be on the father and son duo as they travel beyond their remote hill farm in the Yorkshire Dales to embark on an ambitious digging business venture together. Viewers will also be able to see how the teenager’s unique childhood experience has prepared him for adulthood.

The highs and lows of Reuben’s first year of business will also be covered, as well as how his father Clive, best friend Tom, and girlfriend Sarah join him on this adventure. Channel 5 also reportedly hinted at “future Owen Family projects” which will be revealed in due course.

This announcement comes days after 48-year-old Amanda and Clive, 68 reunited for their daughter Raven’s graduation ceremony in York.  The pair posed for a snap, prompting well wishes from fans who were happy to see them back together.

The couple split up in June this year after 22 years of marriage as Amanda confirmed her separation from Clive, which put the future of the programme in doubt. She said: “This hasn’t been easy, but we both believe it’s the right choice for the future of our family.

“Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together with our number one priority being the happiness and wellbeing of our children.”

Since the show began broadcasting in 2018, millions of fans have watched Clive and Amanda, dubbed the ‘sexy Shepherdess’  raise their nine children together, and it quickly became the channel’s highest-rated factual show for its heartwarming, refreshingly honest portrayal of rural family life. They were even branded the "Kardashians of the countryside" by fans.

Beyond The Yorkshire Farm: Reuben & Clive will launch on Channel 5 on Tuesday, December 6 at 9pm.
