We’ve done the hard work for you again, showcasing 14 great shows that the family can enjoy at the Fringe, including circus and magic shows, comedy, theatre, puppetry and music.

5. The Listies 110% Ready
Back by poop-ular demand! Fringe family favourites since 2008, The Listies return with 110% Ready – a comedy disaster movie about the morning routine. Winner of the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe Bestie Award for Best Kids Show, 110% Ready is a hilarious love letter to the chaos of family life - the kind where you’re standing at the front door, keys in hand, wondering how it took 45 minutes to put on a single shoe. Assembly (Studio One), George Square, August 5-16, not 13th, at 1pm. | Andrew Parry

6. Tale of the Firebird – Concerto for Violin, Fire & Acrobatic Orchestra
Classical music meets circus in this genre-bending adrenaline fueled spectacle, with musicians doubling as acrobats. The legend of the Phoenix told through theatrical storytelling, live music and breathtaking circus. Assembly Roxy (Central), August 6-30, not 17th, 6.15pm. | Nikola Milatovic
