Ice Road Truckers' star Todd comes to Truckfest

THE rumble of the engines will be plain to hear as Truckfest returns to The Royal Highland Centre at Islington on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 August.

As always it’s going to be a great show and you can save money by booking your tickets now - advance ticket sales end Friday 3 August.

A thrilling day out for all the family, in addition to the hundreds of impressive haulage vehicles on show, including the ever-popular fire truck display, there will also be a host of other four and two-wheeled attractions including the giant car-crushing American monster truck Swampthing and high-flying motorcycle stunts from the crazy James Dylan stunt show in the main arena.

For children, there’s a family fun fair and inflatable kids zone and for the big kid in all of us monster truck Slingshot will be crushing and jumping cars in the main arena all weekend.

If reality trucking shows is your kind of thing then your in for a real treat with Outback trucker Steve Grahame flying in from Australia to meet his fans and sign autographs.

Based in Perth, fans refer to Grahame as ‘The Outback Legend’. With more than 46 years driving trucks he survived one of his most gruelling years on the road in Season 4, returning to Outback Truckers the following year with a rebuilt shoulder, fixed truck and a renewed hunger for the open road and new truck dog, Bella!

Or if you’re a fan of the hit TV show Ice Road Truckers, guest stars will include Ice Road Trucker Todd Dewey who will play host in the main arena introducing the live acts and stunts.

With dozens of interesting trade stands, and top trucks on display from top manufacturers expect a diesel-fuelled top family day out. Save money with advance tickets, which are on sale now; a Adult day ticket is £14, £6 for kids, children under five go free. A single day family ticket is just £35. A family weekend camping pass is £70. Advanced ticket sales end on Friday 3 August.
