It's been an arduous 10 months living under lockdown restrictions, so many parts of life we took for granted are temporarily on hold.
With the anniversary of Scotland’s first national lockdown of all pubs approaching, we were feeling nostalgic towards better, pre-Covid times - and it seems so were hundreds of our readers.
We asked the EEN readers a pretty tough question - what is the best Edinburgh nightclub ever?
Here are 9 of the most popular responses. How many of these do you remember?

5. Honeycomb/Hive
Affectionately known by both names, Honeycomb in the Cowgate was the scene of many cracking nights before turning into the Hive. Photo: JPI

6. Eros and Elite
Another short-lived nightclub, this venue was located at Fountainpark and opened in 1999. Photo: JPI

7. Establishment/ Red Hot Pepper Club
Now modern offices on Semple Street, this venue was the place to be on a Friday night. Also known as Establishment. Photo: Google Maps

8. Opal Lounge
A popular club in the mid-00's, it now called Eastside, a venue which offers an 'alternative to clubbing, with amazing cocktails and premium drinks served the festival way.' Photo: JPI
