Olly Murs to finally headline Edinburgh Castle next summer five years after scrapped show
The “troublemaker” singer promises to “bring the tunes” next July
Olly Murs is set to play Edinburgh Castle next July in what promises to be a hit-filled show celebrating his 15 years in music.
Fans were previously left “devastated” after the Dance With Me Tonight singer had to cancel his gig on the castle’s historic esplanade in 2022 following a major new knee surgery.
But now, he promises to “bring the tunes” when he takes to the stage at the city’s most famous landmark on Friday, July 16 next year.

Speaking of the run, Olly said “I’ve loved having a year at home, but I’ve got itchy feet now.
“I’m ready to get out of the house, back on the road and back where I belong… on stage. Next summer I’m bringing the tunes, the energy and a proper party across the country.”
His Castle Concert show will be the singer’s only Scotland show in his 14-show UK tour and is one of his final four dates.

Presale goes live on Ticketmaster this Thursday at 10am before the general sale begins at the same time on Friday morning.
Fans can also purchase hospitality tickets through Seat Unique.
Next Summer’s Castle Concert series will also see Jack Savoretti and James Morrison double-headline the historic venue the next day, July 17.
Tickets to see the pair are already on sale via Ticketmaster and start at £74.15 per ticket.
