Sam Fender confirms huge Edinburgh gig as chart-topping singer-songwriter to play Murrayfield Stadium
The Geordie singer-songwriter is heading back out on tour, including a date at Murrayfield Stadium next summer
Chart-topping singer-songwriter Sam Fender is returning to Scotland next year with a massive Edinburgh gig confirmed.
The ‘Seventeen Going Under’ hitmaker will be taking to the stage at Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium on Thursday, July 8 as part of the ‘Proper Massive Stadium Tour 2027’.

The tour will kick off in Sam’s hometown of Newcastle before travelling around the UK stadium, visiting cities such as Cardiff, London, Edinburgh, and Manchester. He will also make the trip to Ireland to place Dublin as part of the tour.
Sam’s huge summer of gigs comes after the success of his third studio album ‘People Watching’, which took home the 2025 Mercury Award after topping the UK charts.
