Edinburgh's Usher Hall will become a haven for film music enthusiasts as the two performances, promoted by Raymond Gubbay, light up the final weekend of the year - a perfect celebration to end 2024 and a chance to step into 2025 in spectacular style.
Both shows will be performed by the renowned Royal Scottish National Orchestra, under the baton of acclaimed conductor Michael Bawtree.


With a packed lineup of unforgettable soundtracks, first up, also featuring a choir, is The Music of Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, and Beyond.
Embark on a journey through the worlds of Middle Earth and Westeros as the orchestra brings to life the epic scores of The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and Game of Thrones. The concert also features thrilling music from Pirates of the Caribbean, Avatar, The Witcher, and more, creating an evening of pure cinematic wonder.
On Sunday, it's a matinee battle between two of Hollywood’s greatest composers as The Music of Hans Zimmer vs. John Williams takes the stage.


Zimmer’s dark, atmospheric scores from The Dark Knight and Inception will square off against Williams’ unforgettable themes from Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, and E.T.
