Children are encouraged to dress up in their Halloween finery to enjoy a day filled with treats, crafts and games, all while adhering to the appropriate social distancing measures.

Youngsters can pick an option from the specially designed Spooktacular lunch menu while adults can indulge in afternoon tea including homemade scones, cakes and a pot of tea or coffee.

There will also be a fancy-dress competition, so boys and girls should come dressed to impress for the chance to win a prize.

Grown-ups can also enjoy a slice of the action, with a range of freshly-baked cakes as well as Traditional Afternoon Tea – complete with finger sandwiches, homemade scones and mini cakes alongside a pot of tea or coffee.

Children’s tickets are priced at £8.50 and include a meal as well as activities and games. Adult tickets start from £5.99. Advance booking is essential. A full refund will be issued if Dobbies cancel the event, and free cancellation if customers need to cancel, up to 3 days prior to the event in light of recent developments in Covid-19 precautions.

Graeme Jenkins, CEO at Dobbies, said: “We’re excited to host our annual in-store event at Livingston. We’re closely following Government guidelines to ensure the event is safe and enjoyable, and we look forward to welcoming our customers for our Halloween party.”
