Taking place on Saturday afternoon in Mayfield Park, the big day features shows, pony rides, goodie bags, inflatables, owl magic, a disco, face painting, a pipe band and more.

The parade leaves Easthouses at 1pm, heading to the park.

Gala day organiser Robert Hogg said: “I’m sure the children of the community have missed such a large community event and are looking forward to this year’s gala day, a highlight of the year in the community.

"We’ll have plenty of entertainment on all day.

"And we are paying tribute to Andrew Sharp a well known local piper who sadly passed away.

"He was meant to open the gala day in 2020, but due to Covid the gala got cancelled and sadly Andrew passed away later that year.”
