FOLLOWING its sold-out week at the Festival Theatre earlier this month, the international smash hit musical Six by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss is to return to the Nicolson Street theatre next spring.

The hit show will return for a week long run from Tuesday 11 to Sunday 16 May 2021, with tickets already on sale.

From Tudor queens to pop princesses, Six sees the six wives of Henry VIII take to the mic to tell their own personal tales, remixing five hundred years of historical heartbreak into an 80-minute celebration of 21st century girl power.

The songs from the show have proved to be a chart storming sensation with the Six cast album the second highest streaming cast recording in the world (second only to Hamilton) - it hit the 100 million mark this month and Ann Boleyn’s song Don’t Lose Ur Head has been shared more than half a billion times on the TIK TOK app.

The Six phenomenon shows no sign of abating. Since the show premiered as a student production at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2017, it has transferred to Broadway, where it is currently previewing at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, following sold out runs in Chicago and Boston.

Back in London where Six continues to sell every seat for every performance at the Arts Theatre, the show was nominated for five 2019 OIivier Awards, including Best New Musical, Best Choreography and Best Costume Design.

Six continues to sell-out at every venue on its current 9-month UK tour, and in other continents, SIX is enjoying a run at the Sydney Opera House until 5 March, prior to a tour of Australia and New Zealand this spring/summer 2020.
