The Modfather Paul Weller is heading back to Edinburgh in November - here's when tickets go on sale
It’s not that long since he returned to play the Castle (for a second time) and now the former front man of The Jam has announced that his new 19 date tour will bring him to the Usher Hall on Monday 16 November.
The autumn tour follows an already sold out May tour, plus the announcement of Weller’s eagerly awaited new album On Sunset, which will be released on 12 June.

Hide AdOn Sunset will be the singer’s first release for his new label Polydor.
Weller last played Edinburgh in 2019 when Evening News reviewer Chris Mackinnon observed: ‘After six years away, the King of the Mods made a triumphant and, for him, a very smiley return to the Capital... The voice remains a distinctive instrument and he can rock a black t-shirt and jeans combo better than guys half his age.’
On that occasion the 62-year-old played a set that included a couple of tracks from his 2015 album Saturn’s Pattern, some Style Council classics and the odd song from his time with The Jam, although there was no Going Underground.
At the Usher Hall in November expect the majority of the evening to be taken up with tracks from the new album, although there could well be one or two surprises thrown into the mix - albeit ‘surprises’ that might not be the ones you might expect to hear.
