Originally planned to run over Saturday and Sunday, the latter day was axed earlier this month due to lack of ticket sales, leaving the annual craft beer, food and music festival with just the Saturday to fill.

Joining Falconer on the bill are 16 other acts including Glasgow indie/rock band Baby Strange, who share their name with a T Rex track from the 1972 album The Slider.

Also taking to the stage will be Brit Pop-inspired five-piece Vida, who released their debut EP in 2016; Fife band Shambolics, who are signed to Alan McGee’s Creation 23 record label and Glaswegian rockers Voodoos, currently at the top of the live music scene through the west.

Nick Mercer Jr, formerly of Glenrothes’ indie-rockers Sergeant, will also take to the stage at the Anderson Place venue, as will Perth band Parliamo and Miracle Glass Company who you might have seen play Edinburgh’s Hogmanay 2018.

Completing the line-up are the ‘cheeky and fun quintet’ from Prestonpans The Rah’s. Fife singer Davey Horne, Alloa singer Kieran Fisher, Glasgow guitar band The Roly Mo, Coatbridge-based Cutchy Cash, up-and-coming Dundee five-piece Ruvellas, fellow Dundonians Carousel, Dunfermline guitar pop band The Links and folk pop duo The Poachers.

That said, for many, it’s Falconer who will prove the draw. The singer, loved not just for his work in The View, also boasts a strong solo career - his debut record No Thank You was released to critical acclaim in 2018, and his 2019 EP Almost Pleasant also demonstrate his abilities as a highly gifted songwriter.
