Widely recognised as Scotland’s first Black supermodel, Edinburgh's Eunice shared the moment with her 1 million+ Instagram followers as the striking Love Tree artwork - created by acclaimed artist Derrick Ofosu Boateng - appeared across the iconic Times Square screens ahead of the release.

Created independently with support from Creative Scotland, Love Tree follows Eunice’s directorial debut documentary Secret Lives, exploring the untold stories of British hip hop. With the album, she hopes to further spotlight Scotland’s hip-hop scene.

While best known publicly through fashion, broadcasting and activism, Eunice has long worked across music, film and culture internationally — ghostwriting, collaborating and performing under aliases alongside globally renowned artists while quietly developing her own music career behind the scenes.

Alongside her international fashion career, Eunice has remained deeply connected to Scotland’s creative community through projects spanning broadcasting, sustainability, arts and education, including collaborations with V&A Dundee, National Museums Scotland, Creative Scotland and climate-focused cultural initiatives around COP26.

In her Instagram post, Eunice said:

“Thanks for showing me so much love. I can’t wait to share the most epic few months.

I know this might come as a bit of a shock to a lot of you, but for the past decade or so I’ve been quietly releasing chart-topping music — both as a ghostwriter and under different aliases.

I never wanted my work in fashion to be the reason doors opened for me. I wanted the music to speak for itself.

But now I’m finally ready to share this whole other side of my life with you and honestly, I’m so excited (and a little nervous) to hear what you think.

This means everything to me. It’s never been about numbers — it’s always been about the love.”

Love Tree is released on 31 May 2026, with an exclusive single also on the way.
