LifeCare launches free health and wellbeing programme for Edinburgh's over 50s
LifeCare is inviting anyone over the age of 50 to stay connected, keep fit and age well through their new free programme of welcoming health and wellbeing classes.

Try a new activity or get back into something you love. All sessions take place in the LifeCare hub on Cheyne Street in Stockbridge.
Zumba classes take place on Mondays 3.45-4.35pm from the 26th of October. This upbeat session is run by the fantastically fun Fergus and is the perfect way to get active, meet new friends and have a blast whilst boosting your fitness. No experience needed – just wear comfy shoes, bring along some water, your energy and a smile!

Chi Gung classes take place on Fridays 11.30am-12.30pm from the 30th of October. This relaxing session is run by Noah as he guides you through the centuries-old practise of beginner friendly Chi Gung.
"Noah is gentle and kind and his class offers an oasis of calm and refreshment."
LifeCare is looking forward to adding more classes to their timetable, ranging from gentle exercise to arts and crafts in the following months. All classes are drop-in, no need to book, and are provided for free thanks to funding from The Health Lottery Foundation.
LifeCare also provides a range of free community activities as well as accessible health and wellbeing activities for unpaid carers, including their new Chi Gung classes on Wednesdays, supported by the National Lottery Community Fund and the Short Breaks Fund respectively.
