New community grant fund launched in Edinburgh
Edinburgh City Council has launched a new Source to Ocean Action Recovery (SOAR) Grant to support projects that inspire, engage and inform residents about the importance of the ocean and Edinburgh’s own marine and coastal environments.
There's £50,000 available to community organisations based in or operating in Edinburgh. Projects should promote the importance of the ocean and Edinburgh’s own marine, coastal and watercourse environments.
Grant are between £2,500 and £10,000 and the grant funding can be used for staff and material costs directly related to a defined project.
