'Drink, Feast, Conquer' - enjoy a stout around the fire pit at this year's Viking themed festive pop up bar in Edinburgh

As this year’s festivities get into their swing, locals and visitors alike will be able to visit Thor’s Tipi Bar which is the newest pop up to take up residence at the Waverley Mall Festival Village.

Two canvas tipis will form the bar area and it will be decked out with wooden tables and benches and lit up with festive lighting.

The bar, which has also made its mark at pop ups across the UK, is visiting Edinburgh for the first time and promises a novel experience for Christmas shoppers, workers, visitors and families alike.

“The location is right in the heart of the city centre with such fantastic travel links for visitors and locals of Edinburgh.

“This brand new pop up will continue to provide a very current and relevant offering to our customers throughout the festive period and is perfect for our overall vision we are striving to achieve for our rooftop area here at Waverley Mall.”

The unique menu has something on offer for everyone as they feature both hot and cold cocktails with a festive twist, beers from around the world, local ales and stouts and an extensive wine list.

Festive favourites such as mulled wine and hot chocolate will also be on offer as well as teas and coffees to combat the cold weather.
