Sales director for Barratt Homes East Scotland Anne Ross said: “Midlothian is a sought after place to live. Situated just ten miles outside of Edinburgh the town has excellent road and rail links, including new stations at Eskbank and Newtongrange which are both part of the Borders Railway. There’s also an abundance of good shopping and dining options as well as access to the Dalkeith Country Park and local wildlife areas.

“Our team has been building in the neighbouring area for some time which has given us a great understanding of what prospective buyers want from a new home.

“I am confident visitors will be impressed by our plans for The Woodlands and we’re expecting strong interest over the weekend and coming weeks.”
