Data released by the Scottish Government breaks down the number of positive covid-19 cases per 100,000 people, according to neighbourhood.
This data is from January, 17 to January 23, 2021.
North Lanarkshire has become the worst hit area again with 285.6 cases per 100,000.
While at the bottom of the scale, and not included on this list, sits the Orkney Islands which recorded nine new cases with a rate of 40.4 per 100,000.

5. East Renfrewshire
In East Renfrewshire there were 160.2 positive cases of coronavirus per 100,000 people between November 21 and November 27. In total, 153 positive cases were recorded in this area over the seven day period. Photo: Google
6. Clackmannanshire
