Scotland's lockdown phase three: When can I get my hair cut, go to the dentist and visit shopping centres?

These are the latest key dates announced by the Scottish Government for the resumption of popular services.

From today:

Organised outdoor contact sports for under-18s can resume.

Dental practices can see registered patients for non-aerosol routine care.

Shopping centres reopen (with physical distancing).

From Wednesday:

Places of worship can reopen for congregational services, communal prayer and contemplation (with physical distancing and limited numbers).

All holiday accommodation can reopen.

Hairdressers and barbers can reopen (with enhanced hygiene measures).

Museums, galleries, monuments, libraries, visitor attractions, cinemas can reopen (with enhanced hygiene measures and advance ticketing).

Nurseries and childcare providers can reopen.

Patients can be accompanied to appointments by one other person and a second person can attend births in addition to the birth partner.

Some easing of attendance restrictions at funerals, marriage ceremonies and civil partnerships’ registrations (with physical distancing).

From Wednesday 22 July:

Motorcycle lessons and tests can resume.

Phased return for universities and colleges (with physical distancing).

Beauticians and tailors can reopen (with enhanced hygiene measures).

From Friday 24 July:

Some visiting restrictions eased at certain care homes.

From Friday 31 July:

Home births can resume.

Not before Friday 31 July (no dates set):

Reopening of non-essential offices and call centres

Reopening of bingo halls, theatres and indoor gyms.

Resumption of indoor and outdoor live events.

Resumption of outdoor contact sports and driving lessons.

From Tuesday 11 August (date varies):

Children to return to school full-time.
