Paul – care practitioner at Barchester Healthcare’s Drummond Grange home – entertained his audience while they had a socially-distanced drink in its own bar.

He did a medley of Elvis songs – including all the instantly recognizable worldwide hits – on Friday, which would have been his 86th birthday. Elvis died aged 42 in August 1977.

Paul’s boss, Drummond Grange general manager Eleanor Wilson, said: “We celebrate Elvis’ birthday every year and this year was not going to be any different, except that we had to obey guidelines, and the residents love it.”

One resident commented, saying: “Paul was amazing at doing Elvis. He usually sings songs from John Denver & Neil Diamond and others so this was a treat.”
