Last year saw number of new restaurants, cafés and bars open their doors and join the long list of places that are worth checking out.

9. Chilo's
Chilo’s is Edinburgh’s latest burger restaurant which opened in Clerk Street in Newington last month. Chilo’s offers a range of burgers from their BBQ Ranch Burger, veggie burgers and its King Kong Burger which has 255g Aberdeen Angus patty. 10. Somewhere By Nico
The highly popular Six by Nico team opened a new restaurant in Edinburgh’s West End alongside a neighbouring cocktail bar, Somewhere by Nico.
