Edinburgh Food Delivery Service is the Best in the UK, Study Reveals
As delivery services face a surge of orders during lockdown, Edinburgh has come out on top with the least negative customer reviews out of all the UK cities, according to a survey from online cake shop Jack & Beyond.
The findings show that only 28.2 per cent of customers left negative reviews for delivery businesses across the Capital, with Belfast coming in second with only 28.7 per cent.

Hide AdOverall, when it comes to a better delivery experience, Scotland (33.6%) comes out on top, followed by Northern Ireland (28.7%) with the fewest negative mentions.
Despite being a city with fewer negative reviews, Jack & Beyond found that Scottish customers’ common complaints included “missing items” and “late delivery.”
Northampton has the worst food delivery service in the UK - 45.1 per cent of customer reviews are negative with Hull second (43.4%) and Southampton (41.2%) in third place.
Aberdeen scored the worst in Scotland with 38.8 per cent of reviews negative.

Hide AdLiverpool, Brighton, Bristol and Portsmouth are among the top ten cities with the worst delivery service.
The South West (40.2%), West Midlands (38.2%) and South East (37.4%) are the regions with the worst food delivery
London, Scotland and Northern Ireland come out on top as the regions with the most positive reviews.
Experts from Jack & Beyond found the top 30 UK cities by population from The Geographist and – using one of the UK’s biggest delivery services – they scraped the text from qualitative reviews across each city’s most popular cuisines and the corresponding restaurants.
