Zuhus Edinburgh launches with half price offer
Zuhus on Clerk Street is offering a fusion of Portuguese meals, chicken and burgers with a twist, many with a spice of peri peri sauciness.
It’s the brainchild of brothers Zulkernan and Husnan Ahmed, who also plans to open a second branch in Dalry Road next month, and two more in Dalkeith and Musselburgh early next year.
He said: “We have other restaurants and we are definitely seeing a move for takeaway, even when lockdown rules allow for sit-in eating. People seem to prefer eating at home right now.
“So while Zuhus will offer sit-in dining, we expect the takeaway service, covering most of Edinburgh, will be a real attraction, especially when people see how creative our menu is.”
A little bit different
And diners at Zuhus are in for some real tasty treats… what about a Cheetos burger, inspired by the US crisps, halloumi skewers, quesadillas or smash and gourmet burgers, packed with mighty flavours, but easy on the pocket.
Chicken lovers can spice up their life with a crispy or grilled range that caters for all… burgers, wraps, flatbreads, family buckets, everyone will be delighted with the Zuhus menu. Got a big appetite? Then the sharing platters are definitely for you.
Want something really different? Ask about the chicken on a waffle special!
Vegetarians will have plenty of choice too, including a yummy halloumi, aubergine and mushroom burger.
And don’t forget your salads and olives on the side!
For those with a sweet tooth, Belgian waffles, chocolate fudge cake, cheesecake, ice cream, donuts and milk shakes make for perfect sides.
Half price this week
Ahmed said: “We specialised in healthy grilled food that’s all good quality, but affordable.”
Anyone ordering between Monday and Thursday this week will enjoy half price takeaways, as a very special opening offer.
