5. Scald Law

6. Dalkeith Country Park
Located in the heart of Midlothian, walkers can enjoy riverside ambles and woodland walks in Dalkeith Country Park. There are 1,000 acres to explore, and a variety of trails - many of which are suitable for bikes and buggies. 7. Cockleroy Hill
A short distance outside Edinburgh, near Linlithgow, is Beecraigs Country Park and Cockleroy Hill. Along the relatively easy route is a picturesque loch within a forest, as well as a park with red deer and highland cows grazing in the fields.
