All change at the exchange under museum proposals

THE historic Corn Exchange in Dalkeith is set to be restored as part of a £3.5 million project.

The 150-year-old building in Midlothian has been empty for a number of years but now plans have been put forward that would see it become home to Dalkeith Museum, managed by the Dalkeith History Society, as well as offices for Melville Housing Association.

Melville also plans to include solar panels and a ground source heat pump.
