Bongo Club eyes church

CAPITAL nightclub and arts centre The Bongo Club has asked university bosses to let it move into an old church.

Charity Out of the Blue, which has run the club since 1996, has asked for a year-long stay of eviction from its home on Holyrood Road while it refurbishes the neighbouring Old Kirk, it was reported today.

The club has been told to quit its current premises, where it has been since 2003 as university need the premises for office accomodation.
