Civerinos is set to close its pizza pop-up at Lost Shore Surf Resort near Edinburgh after two years, with customers being offered 50 per cent off pizzas on its final day.

The Edinburgh pizza business announced the news on social media, revealing that what was originally intended to be a six-month pop-up had turned into a two-year stint at the surf resort near Ratho.

In a post shared on Instagram, Civerinos thanked the community who had supported the business during its time at the venue, as it prepares to hand over to the Lost Shore Kitchen team.

The post read: “What was only meant to be a six month pop up turned into two incredible years.”

The business also wished the Lost Shore team well for the future, adding that it was “so proud of what we’ve built here and of everyone in the community who’s been part of it with us”.

To thank customers for their support, Civerinos is offering 50 per cent off all pizzas throughout Sunday, November 1.

The promotion will give fans of the pizza business one final opportunity to enjoy its food at the resort before the pop-up closes.

Announcing the offer, the team said: “Your last chance to get your Civerinos fix at @lostshore… once it's gone, it's gone.”

Lost Shore Surf Resort, located near Ratho on the outskirts of Edinburgh, is home to a large inland surf lagoon and facilities for visitors looking to enjoy surfing and other activities.

Civerinos has built a large following in Edinburgh for its pizza, with the Lost Shore pop-up providing customers with another location to enjoy its food.

The handover to Lost Shore Kitchen will see the resort's own kitchen take over following the end of the Civerinos era.

The announcement has prompted a wave of responses in the comments, with one person saying: “Nooooooo, all the best guys! Thanks for always feeding my hungry groms after their sessions.”

Another added: “Seriously on the brink of tears right now.”

One person even said the resort won’t be the same without it: “Lost Shore trips will never be the same again.”
