Craig Thomson admonished over sex offenders' order breach
FORMER Hearts star Craig Thomson has walked free from court after admitting failing to tell police he was going on holiday.
Thomson was placed on the sex offenders’ register in 2011 after sending a young girl an explicit picture.
Under his terms, the 24 year-old, from Bonnyrigg, was supposed to inform police if he was leaving the country – but failed to do so when he headed to Alicante with friends last May.
Edinburgh Sheriff Court heard yesterday that child abuse organisation Stop It Now! had provided a “positive” report on Thomson, and he was admonished.
