Edinburgh crime: Man, 61 arrested after assault in Gilmerton which left another man requiring hospital treatment
A 66-year-old man has been arrested following an assault in Gilmerton, which left another man with injuries.

Police were made aware of the incident, which took place at Moredun Park Road in Edinburgh, at around 5.50am on Friday, June 17.
Officers attended the scene and cordoned off the area.
A 22-year-old man was injured as a result. He has been taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 61-year-old man has been arrested and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
